“Ending and Preventing Homelessness for Women and Children.”  Bridge of Hope offers professional counseling by social workers to women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They also place each client in a mentoring group composed of members of a local church. This mentoring group offers the ministry of friendship to the client as she transitions to a new job or higher education on a path to becoming financially self sufficient.

This bilingual Christian ministry focuses on identifying health needs of Spanish-speaking pregnant women, newborn babies and children. The staff nurses accompany families to hospital visits as translators or assist in home care of critically ill children. Volunteers and staff also provide transportation or interpretation of medical forms, insurance policies and other paperwork to families in their native Spanish language.
