The Angel Tree Ministries of the Baptist Convention recently developed a summer camp for children with parents serving time in prison. Forty four local children participated last summer. Year-round opportunities to continue these relationships are planned with the kids to connect them with caring church congregations.

With hundreds of volunteers, they transform substandard houses into warmer, safer, and drier homes; and despair into hope. Services are offered to homeowners at no cost and volunteers do most of the repairs.
