The Angel Tree Ministries of the Baptist Convention recently developed a summer camp for children with parents serving time in prison. Forty four local children participated last summer. Year-round opportunities to continue these relationships are planned with the kids to connect them with caring church congregations.

The Garage Community & Youth Center was a vacant car garage until 1999, when a local business leader and youth pastor envisioned its roof sheltering something far more valuable than vehicles; the renovated building now is home to services for middle and high school students. More than 200 students pass through their doors each week for tutoring, mentoring, use of the computer lab, youth groups, and activities organized by their partners.

Good Works is a Christian organization which strives to improve the living conditions for low-income families in Chester County, PA. With hundreds of volunteers, they transform substandard houses into warmer, safer, and drier homes; and despair into hope. Services are offered to homeowners at no cost and volunteers do most of the repairs.
