The Pilgrim Foundation is dedicated to promoting the welfare of vulnerable people by offering financial support to Christian organizations with the same goal.
Founded in 1998, the Pilgrim Foundation strives to follow Jesus Christ’s instructions to care for the most vulnerable members of society. For us this means equipping those whose life, freedom, medical care, or access to education is threatened by providing spiritual guidance and material support. Our grantmaking is guided by several core beliefs:
We believe that every child, born and unborn, is a sacred creation of God.
We believe that every child deserves food, shelter, medical care, and education. Our grants demonstrate these beliefs through support of sustainable development programs in communities in need.
We believe that tremendous human gifts, talents and assets exist in all communities. We work with development organizations that recognize this potential.
We believe that to change communities for the better, local leaders need to be educated and equipped. We support Christian education in order that the graduates can meet the needs of those among them.
We believe that people and communities are transformed through experiencing the love of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. In all that we do, we are motivated and inspired by His sacrifice for us.
